A leading London-based investment bank is seeking a Senior Business Analyst / Project Lead to join its IT & Change Delivery function. This hybrid role sits at the heart of the bank’s technology transformation, combining business analysis, project management , and application expertise across core banking, treasury, and trading systems .
The Role
You’ll drive delivery of strategic technology initiatives that strengthen operational performance and regulatory compliance. Acting as a key interface between business and technology teams, you’ll shape solutions, manage end‑to‑end project execution, and serve as a subject matter expert across platforms such as Oracle Flexcube, OPICS, ERP , and Bloomberg TOMS .
Key Responsibilities
Lead business analysis and project delivery across banking and treasury platforms.
Define business and functional requirements; develop process, data, and system solutions.
Manage full project lifecycles , including planning, governance, and vendor oversight.
Support UAT, configuration, and system validation activities.
Partner with data teams to deliver analytics and BI solutions (OBIEE/OAS).
Mentor and guide junior analysts, contributing to a high‑performing change team.
What You’ll Bring
10+ years in business analysis and project delivery within investment banking or financial services .
Deep understanding of treasury operations, trade lifecycle, settlements, and risk .
Hands‑on experience with Oracle Flexcube, OPICS, or Bloomberg TOMS .
Expertise in stakeholder management, documentation , and structured delivery methods (Agile/Waterfall).
Skilled in Jira, SharePoint, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio .
Familiar with data warehousing, ETL , and BI frameworks .
