Contract Business Analyst – Finance (ERP Discovery) Retail | Outside IR35 | Hybrid (London) | 3 months initial

We are supporting a leading UK luxury retail and e-commerce brand as they begin the discovery phase of a major ERP transformation programme. They are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to lead the finance stream, working closely with stakeholders to define future-state processes, costing methodologies, and system requirements.

You will: Engage with finance stakeholders to elicit, evaluate, and prioritise requirements

Perform impact analysis on proposed changes to costing methodology (e.g. standard cost vs weighted average)

Lead workshops to align decision-makers on key finance design principles

Deliver high-quality discovery artefacts including:

Business context model

As-is / To-be process maps

User stories and journeys

RAID logs

MoSCoW-prioritised requirements

Map current interfaces, data flow methods, and timings

Help define cost of ownership models (e.g. cost per transaction)

Identify low-effort opportunities for efficiency within finance processes
