About the Role


We're seeking a seasoned B2B sales leader to drive revenue growth and help us scale into enterprise accounts. You'll own strategic sales initiatives, build and refine our go-to-market playbook, and close high-value deals across commercial real estate, franchise, and retail verticals. This is a player-coach role with a path to building and leading a sales team.


Responsibilities


Revenue Generation & Deal Execution

  • Own the full enterprise sales cycle from prospecting through close for deals ranging from $5K–$50K+ ARR
  • Build and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities in target verticals (commercial real estate, franchises, retail chains, consulting firms)
  • Lead executive-level conversations and complex, multi-stakeholder negotiations
  • Consistently exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets


Strategic Sales Leadership

  • Develop and iterate on outbound sales strategies, messaging, and positioning
  • Identify new market segments and partnership opportunities
  • Create scalable sales processes, playbooks, and enablement materials
  • Provide accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting to leadership


Product & Market Expertise

  • Become a deep expert on Marketlyzer's platform and competitive landscape
  • Deliver compelling, consultative demos that tie product capabilities to business outcomes
  • Translate customer feedback into actionable insights for the product roadmap


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with marketing on demand generation campaigns and content strategy
  • Collaborate with customer success to ensure seamless handoffs and drive expansion revenue
  • Work directly with founders to shape commercial strategy and pricing


Team Building (Future)

  • Help recruit, onboard, and mentor junior sales team members as we scale


Requirements


  • 7+ years of B2B sales experience with at least 3 years in a senior or closing role
  • Proven track record of exceeding $500K+ annual quota in SaaS, data/analytics, PropTech, or market intelligence
  • Experience selling into commercial real estate, franchise operations, or retail (strongly preferred)
  • Demonstrated success with enterprise sales cycles ($20K+ ACV) and multi-stakeholder deals
  • Strong executive presence—comfortable presenting to C-suite and senior decision-makers
  • Deep understanding of consultative/solution selling methodologies (MEDDIC, Challenger, SPIN, etc.)
  • Proficiency with CRM (HubSpot preferred), sales engagement tools, and pipeline management
  • Self-directed and entrepreneurial; thrives in ambiguous, fast-moving startup environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


Nice to Have


  • Experience at an early-stage startup (Series A or earlier)
  • Background in location intelligence, GIS, real estate analytics, or market research
  • Existing network in commercial real estate, franchise, or retail sectors
  • Experience building sales teams or processes from scratch
