An established and forward-thinking multidisciplinary engineering Consultancy is seeking a Senior Technician with strong experience in Revit, CAD and Civil 3D to support the delivery of building-focused engineering projects. The role is based in South Yorkshire, with the office conveniently located just off the motorway, benefiting from excellent transport links and free on-site parking, making it highly accessible for commuting.

The Consultancy operates across a broad range of sectors, delivering integrated civil and structural engineering solutions alongside architectural and technical design services. The business is known for working collaboratively with clients, contractors and stakeholders to deliver practical, well-coordinated and technically robust solutions across commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, rail and infrastructure-related developments. Projects range from smaller bespoke schemes through to large, complex developments, offering technical variety and the opportunity to work on challenging and meaningful work within a professional Consultancy environment that values quality, innovation and teamwork.

As a Senior Technician, you will play a key role in the production, coordination and development of high-quality technical drawings and 3D models, supporting projects from early concept through to construction. Working closely with engineers, architects and project managers, the role will involve producing accurate and coordinated design information that meets project briefs, statutory requirements and internal technical standards.

The position requires strong hands-on experience using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD, with additional proficiency in Civil 3D to support civil engineering elements such as site layouts, drainage, earthworks and external works. The role will be primarily focused on building projects, with experience in civil engineering design considered beneficial. An understanding of how civil and structural elements integrate within building schemes will be important, particularly in relation to coordination, constructability and BIM processes.

Operating at Senior level, the role carries a high degree of technical responsibility, including contributing to BIM standards, supporting model coordination, resolving technical design issues and ensuring that deliverables are produced efficiently, accurately and to a consistently high standard. The individual will be expected to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, communicate clearly with colleagues and contribute positively to the ongoing development of technical workflows and digital delivery.

This opportunity would suit a Technician with experience in an engineering Consultancy or similar design-led environment, who demonstrates strong technical capability, attention to detail and a proactive approach to project delivery.
