Senior Capital Actuary

The Role
- Support and enhance the internal capital model, including development, parameterisation, and validation
- Deliver regulatory capital reporting (e.g. LCR, Standard Formula, LSM)
- Contribute to capital planning, business strategy, and reinsurance decisions
- Engage with stakeholders across underwriting, finance, risk, and regulators
- Support IMAP submissions and model governance processes
- Help embed capital modelling into business decision-making
The Candidate
- Qualified actuary (FIA or equivalent, or near qualified)
- Strong capital modelling experience, ideally within the Lloyd’s market
- Technically strong with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders
- Commercially aware and adaptable in a dynamic environment
Location: London (Hybrid)
Salary: Up to £130,000
