Care Practitioner / Senior Care Assistant – St Leonards (Job ref – PK70107)

Our client in St Leonards is an established Care Home which provides person-centred care for up to 60 residents in a comfortable and supportive environment. They are rated Good in all areas in their most recent CQC report and a part of a supportive, independently-owned care company.

The Care Home is well served by bus routes and also offers free on-site parking. They now have an exciting opportunity for 2 x Care Practitioners / Senior Care Assistants to join their passionate team of Carers and Senior Carers.

Care Practitioner pay rates starting at a fantastic £16.69 per hour!

These are full or part time, permanent roles working 12 hour shifts; 24, 36 or 48 hours per week depending on your preference. This is working day shifts, 8am-8pm.

Requirements of the Care Practitioner / Senior Care Assistant role:

* Care Team Leaders / Senior Care Assistants with previous experience working within care homes in senior roles

* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care

* Medication training

Responsibilities of a Care Practitioner / Senior Care Assistant:

* Administer medication, write and update care plans, risk assessments

* Work collaboratively within a team of other Care Assistants, Senior Carers and Nurses

* Liaise with all visiting professionals including GPs, other healthcare professionals and families.

* Helping to run the shift, hands on supporting the floor.
