Senior Care Assistant We are seeking experienced and compassionate Senior Care Assistants to join a growing residential care team, delivering high-quality, person-centred support.
Position: Senior Care Assistant (Days and Nights Available) Salary: Up to £29,386 per annum Location: Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire Hours: Full time, 07:30 to 20:00 or 19:30 to 08:00 shifts Contract: Permanent Closing Date: Ongoing, early applications encouraged About the role This is an opportunity to join a modern, purpose-built residential care home supporting up to 63 residents. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key role in leading your floor, ensuring high standards of care and supporting both residents and colleagues. Key responsibilities include: Leading shifts and allocating tasks to care staff Overseeing care delivery to ensure safe, high-quality support Administering and managing medication Supporting residents with personal care, mobility and daily living tasks Acting as a Key Worker, maintaining and reviewing care plans and risk assessments Liaising with healthcare professionals and internal teams Monitoring standards through regular audits and checks
