KeyResponsibilities

ToberesponsibleforthecareofallResidentialresidentswithinthehome.

Tooverseethecarebeingprovided,identifyshortfallsandrectifyanyshortfallsinstaffperformance.

Toaudit,actionandreviewstandardswithinResidentialunits

Toeffectivelyleadtheteam.

Toformulate,implementandregularlymaintainResidentialcareplans,providingthehighestlevelofpersonalcareandattentiontoresidents,followingindividualcareplanscarefullyandensuringthatallcontactispolite,friendly,warmandsupportive.

TounderstandandcomplywithallstatutoryandlegalrequirementswhicharerelevantsuchasHealth&Safety,COSHH,allaspectsoftheCareStandardsActandensurethatthecorrectaccidentandincidentreportingproceduresarefollowedtomaintainasafeenvironmentthroughoutthehome.

ToprovideandsupervisethedeliveryofResidentialcare,actingasaresourceforallthecaringteam,identifyinganytraininganddevelopmentneeds,assistingcolleaguestotheirmaximumandassistintrainingprogrammes.

Toensurehighestlevelsofpersonalhygieneandinfectioncontrolmeasuresarealwaysadheredto.

TomaintainandkeepaccurateResidentialrecords,byliaisingwithresidents,relativesandstafftoensurecareplanningistimelyundertaken,implementedandevaluated,toparticipateinresidentcarereviewswithresidents,relativesandsocialworkersasarrangedandtoensuresupportgroupsforresidents,friendsandrelativesaremaintained.

Tomonitor,dispenseandadministermedicationtoresidentsasprescribed,accuratelymaintainingappropriaterecordsinlinewithcurrentlegislativeguidelines.

Tooverseeandcarryouteffectivestockcontrolandorderingofresidentsprescribedmedicationandmedicalproductsforthehomeinlinewithcurrentlegislativeguidelines.

Torespectandmaintainconfidentialityofresidentspersonalinformationatalltimes,thisincludesresidentsbehaviourandactionsandanyincidentsthatmayoccurinthecourseofdaytodaycare.

Tobeanactiveandencouragingmemberofthecareteam,contributingtoteammeetingsandresidentreviewmeetings,ensuringgoodcommunicationandassistingintheinductionandtrainingofnewlyappointedmembersofthecareteam,ensuringthehomeisafriendly,supportivecaringenvironments.

Toensureaccurateandtimelyreportingofallannualleave,sickness,complaints,accidentsmishapsandDailyCensustotheManager.CarryingoutallprocedureslaiddownaccordingtoCompanyPolicy. xbpsjku
