Senior Care Team LeaderWe are seeking experienced and inspiring care professionals to lead teams delivering high quality, person centred care for older people.Position: Senior Care Team LeaderSalary: £15.00 per hour plus enhanced rates for weekends, public holidays and night shiftsLocation: Central and South HampshireHours: Various shifts availableContract: PermanentInterview Dates: 8 April, 14 April and 16 April in WinchesterAbout the RoleAs a Senior Care Team Leader, you will play a key role in leading, motivating and developing care teams to deliver outstanding support to residents. You will ensure high standards of care, promote independence and dignity, and support a positive and collaborative working environment.Key responsibilities include:Leading, mentoring and supporting Care Assistants on shiftActing as a role model and supporting induction and ongoing development of staffConducting supervisions, performance reviews and wellbeing conversationsDelivering high quality personal care that promotes dignity and independenceAdministering medication safely and in line with proceduresSupporting residents during illness and end of life careDeveloping and reviewing person centred care plansMaintaining accurate records in line with regulatory requirementsOverseeing shift planning, staff allocation and handoversSupporting audits, quality assurance and incident reportingEncouraging meaningful activities and engagement for residentsBuilding strong relationships with residents, families and professionalsAbout YouEssential skills and experience:Level 3 qualification in Health and Social CareExperience supervising or leading care staff in a residential or nursing settingStrong knowledge of safeguarding, CQC standards and person centred careExperience administering medicationConfident in care planning and using digital care systems or eMARStrong communication, organisational and interpersonal skillsAbility to remain calm and effective in a fast paced environmentDesirable:Experience working with people living with dementiaKnowledge of end of life careFamiliarity with clinical tools such as NEWS or RESTORERelevant additional qualificationsAbout the OrganisationThis is an opportunity to join a well established, values driven charity committed to delivering compassionate, high quality care for older people.
