A well-established independent manufacturer, specialising in fine chemicals and rubber accelerators, is looking for a Chemical Engineer to join their dynamic team. With a strong global presence, this company continues to thrive, renowned for its commitment to excellence in chemistry.
Reporting to the Chemical Engineering Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in process design, safety, and plant modification, driving operational efficiency and compliance across a complex chemical manufacturing environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
Leading the design, implementation, and commissioning of plant modifications Carrying out hazard assessments and leading HAZOPs for new and existing processes Defining scope for risk assessments, performing process calculations, and advising on testing programmes Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, safety codes, and best practices Advising R&D and production teams on practical solutions for new and existing process development Providing technical advice to internal teams, customers, contractors, and consultants Leading assigned capital projects from concept through to commissioning, within budget and performance targets
What You'll Need:
