Senior Children's Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential assistance to individuals in need, helping them achieve their personal goals and improve their quality of life. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in promoting independence and enhancing the well-being of those you support.
Responsibilities
1. To undertake a lead role in ensuring the care and welfare of each child in placement.
2. To give guidance and support to all Residential Workers.
3. To be responsible for the supervision of designated members of staff and to record this in the Supervision Sheet on the member of staff’s file.
4. To raise any concerns with the Registered Manager as appropriate.
Experience
* NVQ Level 3 required.
* Previous experience in a support or care role is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
* A genuine passion for helping others and a commitment to promoting their independence.
* Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends if required.
* Understanding of safeguarding principles and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment for all individuals.
