Senior Civil Engineer Central London | £50,000 - £55,000 | Hybrid Working (3 days office / 2 days home)

I'm currently working with a well-established, employee-owned engineering consultancy that has built an excellent reputation for delivering innovative civil and structural engineering solutions across the UK. With a strong pipeline of work and continue

d growth in London, they are now looking to appoint a Senior Civil Engineer to join their Central London office . This consultancy works across a wide range of sectors including residential, healthcare, education and mixed-use developments, delivering practical and sustainable engineering solutions in collaboration with architects, developers and design teams.

\nThe Role\n

This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects, covering both civils-led infrastructure schemes and structures-led developments requiring civil engineering design . Working closely with structural engineers and other design professionals, you will play a key role in delivering civil engineering solutions from concept stage through to construction. Typical responsibilities include:

\n Leading the design of drainage, highways and external works packages \n

\n

Delivering civil infrastructure design on building projects alongside structural engineering teams

\n

Producing technical designs including SuDS strategies, drainage design and earthworks \n

\n

Liaising with clients, architects, local authorities and multidisciplinary teams

\n

Supporting project delivery across multiple sectors including residential, education, healthcare and mixed-use developments \n

\n

Mentoring and supporting junior engineers within the team

\n

\nAbout You\n

You are likely to have:

\n

\n A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline \n

\n

Around 5+ years' experience within a civil engineering consultancy \n

\n

Experience delivering drainage and highway designs for development projects \n

\n

Knowledge of Section 278, Section 38 and Section 104 approvals \n

\n

Experience with design software such as Civil 3D, MicroDrainage or Causeway Flow \n

\n

An interest in progressing toward ICE Chartership if not already achieved

\n

\nWhat's on Offer\n

\n Salary £50,000 - £55,000 \n

\n Hybrid working - 3 days in the Central London office and 2 days working from home
