I'm currently working with a growing, design-led civil and structural engineering consultancy based in Central London that is looking to appoint a Senior Civil Engineer as part of its continued expansion. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced civil engineer who enjoys hands-on technical delivery and is now looking to take on greater responsibility, with a clear pathway into team leadership as the civil engineering function grows.
The Role
Initially, this is a delivery-focused position, leading civil engineering design packages across a range of building-led and development projects. As the team expands, the role will naturally evolve into a more strategic and leadership-focused position, working closely with senior management to help shape the direction, standards, and growth of the civil engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
Leading the delivery of civil engineering design packages, including: Below-ground drainage and SuDS External works and levels design Highways and access works, including S278 where applicable Earthworks strategies and cut/fill analysis Coordinating civil designs with structural engineers, architects, and other consultants.
