Role: As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will take on project ownership for development-related civil engineering projects, covering preliminary and detailed design of surface & foul water drainage.
Further responsibilities will include:

\n Liaison with both internal and external bodies, including planning authorities, statutory undertakers, and bodies such as the Environment Agency;
\n
Flood Risk Assessment production and reviewing experience.
\n
Attending client meetings and liaising with clients and other stakeholders;
\n
Sustainable Drainage Strategies;
\n
Section 106/104 (Water Industry Act) Agreements;
\n
Section 278 / 38 Highway Designs;
\n
Highway designs to DMRB and Local Authority guidelines;
\n
Residential Estate Roads, Commercial/Industrial Access.
\n
\n

Requirements:
\n
\n Proficiency using industry-standard design packages, which may include AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Site3D, KeyTERRA-FIRMA, Causeway Flow or Infodrainage/MicroDrainage
\n
A practical knowledge of relevant drainage design standards, guidelines and processes
\n
Can multitask and manage a portfolio of projects across various scales
\n
Can communicate effectively and professionally with the design team, clients, and contractors
\n
Good written skills
\n
Understand the multi-disciplinary nature of projects from the planning stage through to completion
\n
\n
