Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer Location: London Job Type: Permanent Start Date: ASAP Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 Overview An urgent requirement has arisen for a Senior Civil Engineer to join a London-based civil engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio, including data centres, housing developments, high-rise schemes, residential projects, and substations. The position combines strong technical delivery with elements of client engagement and business development support. Key Responsibilities Lead the delivery of drainage and infrastructure design packages Prepare and review detailed drainage strategies and calculations Produce technical reports and supporting documentation Use Causeway Flow and Civil 3D for design and modelling Coordinate with multidisciplinary design teams Attend client meetings and provide technical input Support work-winning activities where required Mentor and guide junior engineers Project Sectors Data Centres Housing Developments High-Rise Residential Residential Schemes Substation Projects Technical Requirements Strong drainage design experience Proficiency in Causeway Flow Experience using Civil 3D Good understanding of UK standards and development infrastructure Experience delivering complex urban or large-scale schemes Candidate Profile Experience operating at the Senior Civil Engineer level Strong technical capability and project ownership Ability to contribute to client relationships and business development (prior BD experience not essential) Excellent communication and organisational skills Able to start at short notice This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer seeking a technically engaging role with exposure to major London-based developments and long-term career progression
