This is a great opportunity to join my client, a well-respected, growing Multidisciplinary Consultancy, dedicated to broadening their geographical reach by establishing a brand new office location in stunning Scotland. Known for lending their expertise to a diverse range of high-profile projects across the landscape architecture, planning, and civil engineering fields, they are currently on the lookout for a driven, capable Senior Civil Engineer with extensive knowledge of infrastructure design, who is willing to take on a variety of challenging new projects. You will be working alongside a newly-established team of design experts, based near the lively, artsy city of Glasgow.

Responsibilities for the role of Senior Civil Engineer include:
Contributing to the design of exciting projects and developments across the region
Overseeing the day-to-day running of various projects, from inception through to successful delivery
Mentoring and supporting colleagues' professional development
Liaising with clients and stakeholders across the public and private sectors
Preparing and checking technical documents, such as reports, specifications, drawings, calculations, etc.
Adhering to company policies, procedures, and best practice, ensuring you uphold the appropriate health and safety standards at all times
Acting as a company representative at client meetings, site visits, etc.
Required skills and experience for the role of Senior Civil Engineer include:
A UK Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Civil Engineering (or a similar, relevant field of study)
Possess Chartered Status with a recognised professional body (e.g., ICE)
Experience of working in a design-based role, within a UK-based consultancy or Local Authority setting
Considerable experience of working on infrastructure (namely highways and drainage), housing developments, and energy projects
Experience of earthworks and drainage network modelling
Proficient in the use of various software systems (including Civils 3D, MicroDrainage, AutoCAD, etc.)
Considerable experience of writing and checking a variety of technical documents
Demonstrable experience of liaising with clients and stakeholders within the industry
Outstanding organisation, time management, team leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Desirable skills and experience for the role of Senior Civil Engineer include:
A Higher Degree in a relevant discipline
Experience of authoring Flood Risk Assessments
Experience of preparing Transport Assessments
Experience of leading projects/teams
Experience of working in a public-facing role
Hold a full, valid UK driving licence
