Looking to take real ownership of technically interesting projects? This Senior Civil Engineer opportunity in Bristol offers autonomy, responsibility and clear progression within a growing civil engineering team.

A well-established consultancy is strengthening its highways and drainage capability across residential, commercial and mixed-use developments. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will lead infrastructure design from concept through to approval and construction, working closely with clients and approving authorities.

The Senior Civil Engineer will deliver S38, S278, S104 and S185 schemes while coordinating internal teams and mentoring junior engineers. This Senior Civil Engineer role combines hands-on technical delivery with project management and client engagement within a supportive Bristol office.

Key responsibilities
* Deliver highways and drainage designs for development schemes
* Prepare calculations, drawings and technical reports
* Lead S38, S278, S104 and S185 approvals
* Manage projects through planning and technical stages
* Support and mentor junior engineers and technicians

Candidate requirements
* Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or similar
* Minimum six years' UK consultancy experience
* Strong drainage and infrastructure design background
* Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and InfoDrainage
* Confident communicator with client-facing experience
