Job Description

Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Manchester

On behalf of a contracting company i am looking for a Lead Civil Infrastructure Engineer.

It is a staff position based in Manchester supporting a range of projects across Real Estate and Energies.

Responsibilities:

- Provide day to day project management (or the lead Principal for larger developments as applicable) and lead the design of multiple schemes across a range of clients.

- Checking drawing packages and calculations and ensuring they meet the required design standards and company QA policies.

- Developing Concept and Detailed Drainage, Levels Strategies and Earthwork Appraisals.

- Producing Planning Documents such as Flood Risk Assessments/Drainage Technical Notes and Utilities Statements.

Requirements:

- The drive to learn and develop independently, as well as working collaboratively within a Team is essential. You must also possess excellent communication skills.

- Strong technical ability and understanding of relevant documents; Sewer Sector Guidance, Building Regulations, DMRB and Ciria C753.

- Advanced level capability using MicroDrainage/Flow and AutoCAD is essential. An understanding of Civils 3d/Site 3d is also .
