The Opportunity This is a hands-on, design-led Senior Engineer role with project leadership and client exposure.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver and review civil and structural design in accordance with Eurocodes and relevant UK standards Lead projects across rail infrastructure including stations, platforms, bridges, drainage and associated civils works Work across the full project lifecycle (GRIP stages / equivalent) Interface with multidisciplinary teams and attend key technical meetings (IDC/IDR) Produce high-quality technical reports, calculations and specifications Manage project programmes, budgets and commercial performance Mentor and support junior engineers Support assurance processes including CRE / CEM responsibilities (where applicable) Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and health & safety standardsRequirements

Proven experience in civil/structural design within a consultancy environment Strong background in rail or infrastructure projects (highways also considered) Experience delivering design from first principles Working knowledge of Eurocodes, DMRB and/or Network Rail standards Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStatio...
