Senior Civil/Structural BIM/CAD Designer

My client is currently looking for several Senior Civil Structural BIM/CAD Designers to be based in Manchester or Teeside. Negotiable Rates - OUTSIDE IR35 Ideally you will come from an Oil & Gas background The Role Working within a team, but often with minimal supervision or guidance, the fundamental requirement of this role is to produce civil and structural CAD design deliverables, including 3D models, technical drawings, and sketches for pipeline projects. Prepare preliminary and detailed designs in 2D/3D for civil and structural, temporary, and permanent works as requested by Senior/Principal or Lead Engineers and Designers Use Aveva E3D for 3D BIM modelling and 2D drawing extraction and/or Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD for some elements of civils design. Work within a Common Data Environment Ensure that draughting activities are executed within budget and schedule, while maintaining technical integrity Ensure that work is carried out with relevant codes, standards and procedures. Maintain and develop awareness of current relevant codes and standards Implement company, and where applicable client/project policies and procedures Effectively communicate with other disciplines to ensure that interfaces are clearly defined and correctly designed Liaise with other departments, project personnel, vendors, clients etc… You will be based in Manchester or Teesside offices w...
