This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong claims professional with deep international casualty expertise to manage complex, high‑value claims across Lloyd’s and London Market platforms, working with stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of a varied portfolio of International Casualty claims, ensuring prompt, accurate, and commercially sound adjustment, reserving, and settlement, while embedding strong conduct and customer‑focused outcomes.

Key aspects include:

• Managing complex International Casualty claims from notification through to settlement
• Developing and executing effective claims strategies to expedite outcomes
• Identifying and handling coverage, liability, and quantum issues
• Setting and maintaining appropriate reserves in line with best practice
• Working closely with brokers, delegated claims handlers, co‑insurers, and legal advisers
• Escalating high‑value or sensitive claims in line with financial authority
• Maintaining accurate data across Lloyd’s claims systems
• Keeping abreast of legal, jurisdictional, and market developments

What We’re Looking For

• A wealth of experience handling International Casualty claims
• Strong background in complex and litigated claims
• Working knowledge of US, Canadian, and Australian legal systems
• Experience with Lloyd’s claims systems (ECF) is essential.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• A pragmatic, commercial mindset with strong judgement and attention to detail
• Comfortable working autonomously in a senior technical role
