This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping commercial strategy, leading contract negotiations, and supporting major bids within a dynamic and collaborative environment. This position offers exposure to large-scale, technically complex programmes and the chance to work with a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally. The RoleAs Senior Commercial Manager, you will take ownership of commercial and contractual activities across a portfolio of projects. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure robust commercial governance, manage risk, and drive successful business outcomes. Key Responsibilities
Leading commercial input into bids and proposals for large, complex opportunities Negotiating contracts and contract amendments with customers, partners, and suppliers Developing and implementing negotiation strategies aligned with business objectives Identifying, managing, and mitigating commercial risks and liabilities Supporting project teams with commercial guidance throughout the lifecycle Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders Ensuring compliance with internal policies and contractual frameworks Mentoring and supporting junior team members where required
About YouYou’ll be a commercially astute professional with a strong background in contract management and negotiation within complex environments. We’re Looking For Someone Who
Has proven experience in commercial or contract management roles Demonstrates strong negotiation and influencing skills Possesses excellent commercial and financial acumen Can confidently manage risk and translate strategy into practical solutions Is comfortable working on high-value, complex bids and contracts Has experience working with multiple stakeholders across business functions Brings resilience and the ability to perform in fast-paced, high-pressure situations
Desirable
Professional qualifications (e.g. WorldCC, CIPS, contract management certifications) Experience within regulated or project-based industries
