We are looking for a Senior Communications Executive to play a key role in shaping how Bauer Media’s UK Publishing story is told both internally and externally. This is a dynamic, hands-on role where you’ll bring initiative, creative thinking, and strong writing and communication skills.You’ll partner closely with the Head of Communications, UK Publishing to craft and deliver standout internal and external campaigns that inform, inspire and connect our people and consumers.You’ll collaborate with teams across the UK business; Publishing Senior Leadership, Audio and Outdoor comms teams, our DE&I and culture pillars, and our incredible teams behind our portfolio of Publishing brands. With a strong understanding of drafting engaging comms, you’ll use your storytelling skills to translate business updates into compelling content, and brand moments into newsworthy hooks sparking media interest.This role offers a hybrid working model, meaning 2 days per week in our London office and the rest working from home. There would be occassional travel to Peterborough too.Your Role:Comms –Lead the day-to-day drafting and issuing of internal and external communications including newsletters, announcements, press releases and leadership updatesManage and update content on the employee intranet, company website, newsletters, and internal communication touchpointsManage internal comms calendar and comms trackerProactively identify and develop PR opportunities with key brands generating trade and consumer coverageLead internal employee engagement projects in collaboration with HR, DE&I, Culture Champions and Wellness teamsContent –Create engaging multimedia content, including sourcing and publication of news for global/local channels, and development of communications materials (presentations, videos, etc) as needed for leaders and stakeholdersManage all comms assetsStakeholder Management –Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the Group and Local organisation and with key media contacts.Partner with cross-functional teams and the Audio and Outdoor lines of business to ensure joined-up communications.What You’ll Bring:Proven experience delivering internal communications campaigns end-to-end in a complex organisationPreferable: experience in external communications; writing and pitching consumer & trade releasesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong team player with self-starting capabilities who can work in groups or alone to drive resultsBe highly organised: this person will be relied upon to help ensure day-to-day internal comms activity is planned effectively and efficientlyAbility and confidence to deliver engaging campaigns across multiple channels end-to-endGood time management and multi-tasking - able to demonstrate the ability to adapt to quickly changing priorities and workloadsConfidence in video content sourcing and social-style communications, including platforms such as TikTok and Viva EngagePassion for thinking outside the box and bringing creative ideas to lifeClosing Date: Sunday 26th AprilAbout Bauer Media GroupWe are a media business focused on creating content that matters to millions of people across Europe.
