The Role We are partnering with one of our global financial services clients who are currently on a strong growth trajectory. Following recent acquisitions, they are now expanding their Reward team and looking to hire a Senior Compensation & Benefits Specialist. This opportunity offers a broad international remit and the chance to be involved in some great strategic projects across both compensation and benefits.
Responsibilities: Administer and coordinate compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews, annual bonus cycles, and benefit renewals. Conduct market benchmarking and participate in compensation surveys to ensure competitive total rewards practices. Support the annual compensation review process by preparing relevant data, reports, and recommendations. Provide compensation support to HR Business Partners and senior leadership as needed. Manage relationships with external benefits brokers. Ensure data accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and internal policies. Assist with the communication and implementation of compensation and benefits initiatives. Support job evaluation processes to maintain internal equity and market competitiveness. Contribute to gender pay analytics and reporting. Participate in compensation and benefits-related projects as required. Prepare regular and ad hoc reports for management decision-making.
Ideal candidate: 5+ years of experience in compensation and benefits or total rewards. Strong background in compensation benchmarking, job evaluation, and benefits administration. Proficient in Excel; experience with HRIS systems is a plus. High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Solid understanding of labor laws, tax implications, and compliance requirements. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively across HR and business teams. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, HR, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCP, GRP) are a plus but not mandatory.
