Your responsibilities as Senior Compliance Officer
Oversee compliance with FCA requirements, including filings, reporting, and notifications
Provide clear, practical regulatory advice to first line teams, offering constructive challenge
Support implementation and embedding of regulatory frameworks across the business
Maintain and improve policies, procedures, and systems
Monitor regulatory developments and assess business impact
Investigate compliance issues, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions
What we’re looking for in a Senior Compliance Officer
Previous experience within compliance in financial services
Strong understanding of UK regulatory frameworks, particularly within general insurance
Ability to interpret and translate complex regulation into practical guidance
Experience supporting regulatory audits, inspections, and reporting requirements
Proven ability to manage stakeholders and provide effective regulatory challenge
