The Firm


Our client is a leading, international law firm with a reputation for excellence and a collaborative culture. They are now looking to hire a Senior Conflicts Advisory Lawyer to join their expanding team and play a pivotal role in conflict management across multiple jurisdictions.


The Opportunity


This is an excellent opportunity for a commercial and solution-driven lawyer with strong experience in conflicts to take on a varied and high-profile role. Working closely with the Conflicts Advisory and Onboarding teams, you will provide advice on conflicts and compliance matters while supporting key risk and regulatory projects. Key responsibilities include:


  • Conducting legal and regulatory analysis of potential conflicts and confidentiality issues
  • Advising partners and fee earners on conflicts concerns and client relationships
  • Leading complex conflicts searches and acting as a point of escalation for challenging matters
  • Facilitating conflict resolutions in collaboration with senior stakeholders and management
  • Contributing to the development and improvement of policies and procedures on conflicts and compliance
  • Supervising and mentoring more junior members of the Conflicts Advisory and Conflicts Teams
  • Identifying wider commercial, risk, and reputational implications during conflict assessments


Requirements


  • Strong experience as a conflicts lawyer in a busy international law firm environment
  • Excellent commercial awareness and the ability to balance detail with the big picture
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with lawyers and senior stakeholders across multiple offices
  • Proven track record in resolving conflicts issues with discretion and sound judgment
  • Knowledge of the UK regulatory regime; experience with international conflicts rules is advantageous
  • Comfortable working under pressure, managing multiple projects, and meeting deadlines
