Senior Project Manager - Construction (SC Cleared)
Location: London (Hybrid - 2 days onsite per week)
Rate: Up to £700 per day (Inside IR35)
Contract Type: Contract

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a high-profile construction project. This role requires strong leadership, commercial oversight, and stakeholder management, with a focus on ensuring successful project execution within time, cost, and quality constraints.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end construction project delivery.
Hold contractors accountable for programme, cost, and performance.
Proactively manage risk identification and mitigation, including delays, cost overruns, and permitting challenges.
Act as the primary liaison between the client/developer and the design team (Architects & Engineers).
Coordinate across professional services, contractors, internal teams, and key stakeholders.
Deliver regular progress reporting to senior leadership and governance forums.

Essential Requirements

Proven expertise in construction methodologies and technical delivery.
Strong financial management and cost control experience.
Solid understanding of contract frameworks such as JCT and NEC.
Advanced knowledge of project scheduling tools (Primavera, MS Project).
Expert understanding of Health & Safety legislation within construction environments.
Active SC Clearance (essential)
Significant experience operating at Senior PM / Project Director level within the built environment (surveying, planning, risk mitigation).
Demonstrable strength in stakeholder engagement and management.
Specialist knowledge of construction Health & Safety regulations
