Senior Content DesignerBarbican, London | Hybrid Working (1 office day per week) | Permanent | Full TimeSalary Competitive available, depending on experience37.5 hours per weekWe’re looking for a creative, innovative Senior Content Designer to lead the development of engaging, high quality content across our digital and print channels. You will design graphics, documents, social templates, infographics and motion assets that support brand, acquisition, engagement, loyalty and retention campaigns across our commercial unit.Reporting into the Content Strategy & Planning Lead, you will work closely with the Content Production Manager and Junior Designer to deliver world class creative that aligns with business objectives and adheres to our brand guidelines.As the Senior Content Designer, you will:Lead the creation of high quality digital and print content, including graphics, documents, templates, infographics and motion assets that support brand, campaign and commercial objectives.Generate creative ideas, interpret briefs effectively and ensure all designs are optimised for their intended channels while safeguarding brand consistency.Manage projects from concept to delivery, maintaining timelines, meeting SLAs and keeping stakeholders updated using project management tools and content calendars.Act as a central point of expertise for how content supports marketing goals, advising stakeholders and ensuring assets align with customer and business needs.Handle incoming content requests, oversee annual content reviews and ensure all assets meet compliance requirements and quality standards.Collaborate across teams to understand requirements, engage senior leaders when needed, and contribute to the ongoing development of content strategy.Continuously assess and optimise processes, champion a digital first mindset and identify new creative and strategic opportunities to enhance marketing performance.To succeed as a Senior Content Designer you’ll bring:Proven experience designing for both digital and print platforms within a fast paced marketing or content production environment.Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in graphic design, layout, typography and motion/animation.Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and other relevant design tools.Experience adapting creative across multiple channels (social, email, web, print, OOH, etc.).Confidence working with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders, to understand requirements and communicate design rationale.Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, using project management tools or content calendars.Understanding of brand systems, design governance and maintaining consistency across large content ecosystems.Desirable experience designing for health, fitness or wellbeing brands, with an understanding of how to translate these themes into visually compelling and customer‑focused content.BenefitsWe want you to love coming to work, feeling healthy, happy and valued.
