Our client is a premier UK civil construction group managing a multi-billion pound pipeline of infrastructure and Civil Engineering projects. We are seeking an experienced commercial leader to transition into a Senior Quantity Surveyor role.\n\nWhy Make the Move?\n\nSeamless Transition: We value the Australian "Contract Admin" skillset.

While the titles differ, the core logic of commercial delivery is the same.\n\nProfessional Growth: Gain exposure to massive UK frameworks (e.g., HS2, Highways) and the opportunity to become a RICS Chartered Surveyor.\n\nWhat You'll Be Responsible For:\n\nCommercial Strategy: Full lifecycle ownership of high-value "upstream" client contracts and "downstream" supply chain agreements.\n\nFinancial Control: Leading cost-to-complete reporting, CVRs (Cost Value Reconciliations), and protecting project margins.\n\nComplex Negotiations: Managing major variations, Compensation Events (under NEC4), and EOT claims.\n\nLeadership: Mentoring a team of junior and mid-level Quantity Surveyors to ensure commercial best practices.\n\nRisk Mitigation: Identifying and managing commercial risks across large-scale civil works.\n\nThe Requirements:\n\nExperience: 5+ years as a Contract Administrator or QS/Project Engineer/Manager, specifically in Civil Construction, Earthworks, or Infrastructure.\n\nContractual Knowledge: Expert understanding of head-contract management. Experience with AS4000/GC21 is excellent; we will provide training on NEC4 and JCT forms of contract.\n\nYouth Mobility Visa (Subclass 417)\nCommunication: Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to manage Tier 1 client relationships.\n\nEducation: Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Law, or Civil Engineering.\n\nRandstad CPE values and promotes equality.
