Senior Copywriter – Regulatory & Banking (FCA, Consumer Duty, Hootsuite)

We are recruiting a Senior Copywriter with strong UK banking regulatory experience to join a regulated financial services organisation. This role combines regulatory content writing, compliance-led communications and social media monitoring within a fast-paced, stakeholder-driven environment.

You will write, edit and review FCA-compliant content across banking products and services, ensuring adherence to Consumer Duty, PRA, SMCR, Payment Services Regulations and UK GDPR.

Key responsibilities include:

* Writing and editing regulatory content, product disclosures, Terms & Conditions, Key Information Documents (KIDs), FAQs and policy documentation

* Translating complex regulatory and legal language into clear, plain English

* Partnering with Compliance, Risk, Legal and Product teams to secure regulator-approved messaging

* Monitoring social channels using Hootsuite or social listening tools to identify customer sentiment, complaints and reputational risk

* Producing compliant promotional and product copy aligned to brand and legal standards

* Managing multiple stakeholders across teams and geographies

Required experience:

* Proven Senior Copywriter experience within UK banking or financial services

* Strong knowledge of FCA regulations and Consumer Duty

* Hands-on experience producing regulatory documentation and risk disclosures

* Experience with social media monitoring tools (Hootsuite, Brandwatch, Sprinklr)

* Comfortable working with compliance and risk frameworks
