Senior Corporate Business Development Manager (12-month FTC), Corporate Business Development

2 Days Old

Description 12‑month fixed‑term contract in London. Amazon is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join the Corporate Business Development (CorpBD) International team, focused on leading complex and high‑impact strategic partnerships. The team operates as a centralized function that works across multiple Amazon businesses (including Stores, Prime, Payments, Advertising, etc.) taking on deals and initiatives that are "think big" in nature, require cross‑business alignment, and carry broader strategic implications for Amazon as a whole. Your day will be a dynamic blend of strategic thinking, relationship building, and deal‑making. You'll dive deep into complex business challenges, engage with cross‑functional teams, and develop creative solutions that push the boundaries of what’s possible. You will be required to handle multiple projects that may span a variety of business categories and be forward‑thinking to effectively negotiate terms that benefit Amazon and our customers. As a CorpBD leader, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of strategic partnerships: identifying opportunities, building conviction independently, negotiating terms, and executing deals that create meaningful new capabilities or significantly advance internal strategies. A key part of the role involves navigating internal complexity – aligning senior stakeholders on strategic tradeoffs, resource requirements, and high‑judgment decisions, which the team recognizes as often harder than the external negotiation itself. The role is highly visible at the most senior levels of Amazon and requires someone who can act as a trusted advisor to internal executives while simultaneously managing multiple projects across diverse business categories. CorpBD is a small, tight‑knit team who values authentic, strong‑willed individuals that think creatively and will proactively seek out opportunities to advance the growth initiatives of Amazon's businesses.
