Senior Corporate Solicitor Location: Birmingham / hybrid working Level: Senior Associate Overview Leading national firm seeks a solicitor to join their busy corporate department and deal with a broad range of corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures and corporate governance. Responsibilities

Working with colleagues locally and nationally for a wide range of clients including public and private UK and International companies and their owners Dealing with mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt funding and general corporate structuring work Mentoring junior members of the team whilst working closely with the Birmingham partner on strategic initiatives and thought leadership Involvement in business development activities, building client relationships and helping to grow the practice

About you

5 years'+ PQE in corporate law You will have played a lead role in some transactions and acted as the principal assistant on other more complex ones Solid foundation in mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. A working knowledge of debt finance would also be useful Beyond your technical skills, you will have strong client management skills and an interest in business development You will also be a genuine team player, looking to support others and share ideas and opportunities for the benefit of the team as a whole Sector experience in healthcare would be beneficial but not essential
