Morson Edge are currently recruiting for Cost Managers and Senior Cost Managers in Birmingham, with specific growth demand within the Commercial, Industrial and Logistics, Residential and Education markets. You will be expected to work as part of an integrated team, with the role of Senior Cost Manager covering the whole project lifecycle from initial inception and business case development, through the design process, procurement process, site delivery, commissioning phase and defects management. Here's what you'll do: Provide effective support, mentoring and line management to Project Surveyors / Cost Managers, Graduates and Apprentices.
Leading projects from a Cost Management perspective from inception to completion.
Production of cost estimates, cost plans, procurement and tendering advice, through to post-contract delivery of valuations, change control, reporting and final account.
Taking responsibility for the delivery of projects and managing support teams.
Ensures commissions are managed and completed efficiently, on time and to the client's satisfaction.
Develops strong reciprocal relationships with clients and members of the project team.
