Are you an experienced Credit Controller ready to truly own the function?

We are partnering with a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Nottingham that is looking for a confident, commercially minded Senior Credit Controller to take full ownership of the sales ledger and drive process improvements across the credit function.

This is an opportunity to take control, influence outcomes, and make a visible impact on cash flow performance.

In This Credit Control Role You Will: Take full ownership of the sales ledger
Proactively manage aged debt and reduce exposure
Drive strong cash flow through effective negotiation
Improve credit control processes and reporting
Monitor and improve DSO performance
Approve new account applications and assess credit risk
Resolve complex invoice queries cross-functionally
Provide insight and reporting to senior stakeholders
You will be the go-to person for all things credit — trusted, credible and commercially aware.

What We're Looking For: Proven experience in a B2B credit control environment
Experience owning and managing a full ledger
Strong telephone negotiation skills
Confident in managing difficult conversations professionally
Strong reconciliation and allocation experience
A process-improvement mindset
Excellent communication skills
CICM qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
