Senior CRM Manager - Client Strategy & Lifecycle

New Today

Job Description

At In Digital, we partner with leading subscription and ecommerce brands including The Financial Times, Overleaf and Printed.com to drive measurable growth through customer marketing.

We’re looking for a Senior CRM Manager who can take ownership of client lifecycle strategy — designing and delivering multi-channel programmes that directly impact retention, revenue and Lifetime Value.

This is not a purely execution-focused email role. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to clients, shaping CRM roadmaps, leading automation strategy, and using data to drive commercial decisions.

If you’re confident owning senior stakeholders and translating insight into action, this role offers the opportunity to work across multiple ambitious brands within a fast-growing agency environment.

What will you do?

You will be responsible for delivering client projects. This work varies but could include:

  • Developing best-in-class multi-channel contact strategies for our clients that align with their business goals and objectives.
  • Managing email, push, and SMS marketing operations, including audience segmentation, building automated programs, and managing dynamic content.
  • Reviewing existing client activity and identifying opportunities to improve performance, processes, and efficiency.
  • Advising clients on how to get the most out of their technology and assisting with the implementation and migration to new marketing automation tools.
  • Developing data strategies to ensure clients have access to the right data in the right format, enabling effective understanding of customer behaviour and the delivery of impactful customer marketing campaigns.
  • Analysing campaign performance, extracting meaningful insights, and providing actionable recommendations to optimise future campaigns.
  • Building strong client relationships and identifying opportunities to grow existing client accounts.

What do you need to be successful in this role?

  • 5+ years of marketing experience, specifically within CRM.
  • Extensive experience in email marketing and familiarity with other channels such as Push, In-App, SMS, and Paid Media.
  • Experience with various marketing automation tools such as Braze, Klaviyo, Salesforce, Oracle, Emarsys, MailChimp, Campaign Monitor, Customer.io, or HubSpot.
  • Familiarity with at least one Customer Data Platform (CDP) tool such as Segment, Bloomreach, Tealium, or Blueconic.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with analytics or Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Looker, or Tableau.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to create compelling narratives and articulate ideas with confidence.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, capable of working effectively cross-functionally.
  • Analytical mindset with a deep understanding of retention and marketing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), cohort analysis, and Lifetime Value (LTV) modelling.
  • Prior agency experience where you have built client relationships and managed multiple projects simultaneously is a plus.
