Senior Data Analyst Internally we call this role Workforce Intelligence Analyst. The above job title is being used for external advertising purposes. Working in the Analysis team within Skills for Care’s Workforce Intelligence unit, you will analyse and report on data held within the Adult Social Care Workforce Data set (ASC-WDS). The ASC-WDS is funded by the Department of Health and Social Care and is the major data collection on the adult social care workforce. It collects data about care-providing establishments as well as data about individual workers in this large and growing employment sector. We are hiring for a new analyst to join the Analysis team. We work on a diverse range of projects and use a variety of software; you do not need to be an expert in all areas to begin with. Training will be provided, however experience of these software or similar are required along with strong analytical skills. Analyst work will involve using a combination of Microsoft excel and statistical packages (such as SPSS) to analyse datasets. Microsoft word for creating and reviewing written reports. Data visualisation tools (such as Tableau and Power BI) are also used to provide insights for internal and external stakeholders.
