Our client is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a brand new engineering team, that is building a new data-driven analytics platform as part of a major growth initiative. This role is to shape the future of how their data products are developed, with full ownership and influence from day one. You’ll join a small, high-calibre team focused on delivering a scalable, market-leading solution within an accelerated timeline.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will have the freedom to make key architectural decisions, work with modern tools, and directly influence how future data platforms are designed. The Senior Data Engineer will operate in a highly collaborative, fast-moving team where your expertise will shape both product and technical direction.


Role Highlights – core tasks & impact

  • Own full data lifecycle from ingestion to API delivery
  • Build scalable pipelines across multiple complex data sources
  • Working with new / greenfield Data products
  • Implement robust data quality, validation, and monitoring systems
  • Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams


You Will Need – key skills/experience

  • 5+ years in data engineering within data-heavy environments
  • Strong Python and SQL expertise with modern data platforms
  • Experience designing data architectures for APIs or web products
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-source data pipelines
  • Confidence making independent architectural decisions
