Senior Data Insight Analyst

An opportunity has opened for an experienced Data Insight professional to step into a senior, high-impact role within a well established analytics function. With the data foundations now firmly in place, the focus has shifted from building capability to driving measurable commercial value.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of data, finance, and strategy using insight not just to explain what’s happened, but to shape what happens next.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver actionable analysis across core financial and operational datasets.
• Build and refine advanced analytical and forecasting models.
• Convert complex data into clear recommendations that support executive decision-making.
• Identify emerging trends, risks, and efficiency opportunities
• Act as the primary analytics contact for senior stakeholders.
• Work closely with leadership teams to define insight requirements and priorities.
• Encourage and support the use of dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics.

Experience:

• Strong hands-on expertise in SQL, Power BI, and financial modelling.
• Experience working within governed or enterprise-level data environments.
• Extensive background (10+ years) analysing finance, retail, pricing, or operational data
• A proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders through insight.
• Clear, confident communication skills with the ability to shape data-driven narratives
• A structured, delivery-focused approach and confidence working across functions.
• Widespread use of dashboards and self-service analytics.
• Improved forecasting and financial performance.
• Reduced reliance on manual reporting processes.
