OverviewAre you passionate about driving value from data science? This Senior Data Scientist role will be embedded in the Marketing Optimisation Enablement (MOE) product team. The team is focused on building solutions to help Marketeers at the LEGO Group optimise marketing budget in the most effective way whilst campaigns are live. This person will be working alongside other data scientists, data engineers and software engineers to build an end-to-end attribution solution for the LEGO Group, including automated data pipelines, a modelling platform, optimization tools and a user interface. The LEGO Group does not cover costs regarding relocation for this role.Core ResponsibilitiesHelp define the data science approach and methodology for the new Marketing Attribution solution for the LEGO Group.Contribute to the development of the solution, including:Help build the data science model that will fuel the solutionHelp build the optimisation engine to create scenarios and recommendationsHelp build the front-end tool that will be used to share results and run optimisations by the marketing teamsCollaborate with the other data scientists and data engineers in the team in an effective and constructive way.Collaborate with partners and the product manager to ensure that data science work delivers real value and impact.Contribute to the product vision through your expertise in data science and a positive can-do attitude.Stay up to date with the latest ground-breaking technologies such as computer science fundamentals and programming.Contribute to building trust with key stakeholders and raise the image of the broader DS & AI team.Play your part in our team succeedingThe Data Science & AI team is a Centre of Excellence for data science, machine learning and artificial intelligence at the LEGO Group. Our objective is to drive value at scale for the organization, by automating or facilitating decisions based on predictive and prescriptive analytics. We are structured in cross-functional product teams, working closely with the rest of Digital Technology at the LEGO Group. We are part of the Data Office, a hub of data practitioners across the LEGO Group. We promote data literacy, ethics and good governance, and are ambassadors for the responsible use of data to drive growth.Do you have what it takes?You are familiar with or willing to learn a diverse range of technologies.Programming languages – Python, RData Processing Libraries - PySpark, Pandas, SQL, etcData Platforms - DatabricksEngineering Tools – Github, AWS, Terraform, DBTData Visualisation – Power BIYou have experience in Marketing Attribution and Marketing EffectivenessYou have worked with data engineers and software engineers and are aware of basic engineering principlesYou are aware of Cookie level restrictions/Data Governance/GDPRYou are familiar working in a product led/agile frameworkYou understand the principles of MLOps and have implemented MLOps frameworks in the pastYou can clearly communicate with other team members, data scientists, data engineers and the product managerYou can communicate with partners and translate technical content to business audiencesYou are eager to learn, both through your day-to-day job and through self-driven initiativesYou are willing to travel occasionally (less than 20% overall).
