\n Senior Design Engineer\n \n Hybrid - some travel to our Canning Town office when required - E16 \n We are looking for an experienced Senior Design Engineer to join our expanding Rail Systems Engineering team. You will be working in a part of Telent that is dedicated to maintaining the UK wide rail network. Our customers include Transport for London, Network Rail and a host of Train Operating Companies. Reporting to the Lead Design Engineer the senior design engineer will be responsible for delivering project upgrade works across Transport for London and Network rail infrastructure. \n Key Deliverables\n \n Management of technical interface to client discipline engineer. \n Manage and produce designs. \n Perform reviews to verify designs are compliant to contract technical requirements. \n Ensure designs are risk assessed in accordance with CDM obligations. \n Ensure designs are fully integrated with other disciplines. \n Manage and produce test documentation to validate the implemented designs. \n Provide technical support to implementation teams. \n Produce as-built documentation and associated test results. \n Report against programme to relevant Project Manager. \n Drive efficiencies in repeated work scopes through design re-use. \n Implement robust processes that aim to eliminate telent incurred re-work co...
