Senior Design Manager Required

Location: Potters Bar

Salary: £80,000 - £85,000

Hill McGlynn Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-established construction client to appoint an experienced Senior Design Manager, based from their Potters Bar office.

This is a senior-level role suited to a confident design professional with a strong track record of leading multidisciplinary design teams and delivering medium to large-scale construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

Leading and managing the design process from pre-construction through to project delivery

Coordinating multidisciplinary design teams, including architects, engineers, and external consultants

Ensuring designs are compliant with contractual, technical, and regulatory requirements

Managing design programmes, risks, and deliverables in line with project milestones

Providing technical leadership and guidance to internal project teams

Acting as the key point of contact for all design-related matters with clients and stakeholders Requirements

Minimum of 5 years' experience in design management within the construction industry

Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams on medium to large-scale projects

Strong understanding of architectural principles, construction methods, and project management practices

Ability to coordinate complex design packages and resolve technical challenges

Excellent communication and leadership skills What's on Offer
