Remuneration: £50,000 - £70,000

The role of a Designer Architectural Metal will involve:
Design position dealing with a high end range of architectural metal systems such as: balustrades, balconies, canopies, stairs, hand rails and staircases
Build and develop client relationships throughout projects
Ensure design is maintained from concept through to completion
Producing designs for projects ranging from £50k to £1.2m in value
Liaise with client and external consultants in relation to live projects
Identify and manage design risks
The ideal applicant will be a Designer Architectural Metal with:
Must have 5+ years design experience within the architectural metal market sector, dealing with balustrades, balconies, decking, canopies, stairs, hand rails and staircases
Must have AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Tekla or related software experience
Ideally will have experience dealing with commercial projects
Ideally will have a degree in architecture, engineering, design, or a related field
Knowledge of cladding systems will be preferred
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
High attention to detail and excellent organisation skills
Driven, enthusiastic, comfortable working autonomously
