We are recruiting for a leading fashion supplier who are looking for a Senior Designer across Teen, Youth and Older Girlswear to join their growing design team. Based in London, this is a customer-facing role for an experienced and commercially driven designer with a strong understanding of the youth and older girls market. The successful candidate will have the confidence to present ideas clearly and persuasively to buyers, while working independently to deliver trend-led, commercial ranges.You will play a key role in creating versatile, fashion-forward collections across jersey, softs and multi-product, ensuring ranges meet both customer briefs and trading requirements.Main Responsibilities will include:Design and develop commercially focused ranges across jersey, softs and multi-product that align with customer briefs, target price points and brand handwriting.Present ranges, concepts and design developments to buyers with confidence, clearly communicating ideas and responding to feedback.Translate emerging trends into commercially viable product suitable for both the youth and older girls markets.Work independently to manage multiple accounts and product categories, maintaining strong organisation and attention to detail.Maintain strong commercial awareness across bestsellers, competitor activity and customer performance to inform design direction.Collaborate closely with internal teams including product development and merchandising to ensure ranges are delivered on time and to brief.Person Specification:5-7 years' experience designing across jersey, softs and multi-product.Strong understanding of the teen, youth and older girls markets, with the ability to design appropriately for each customer and age range.Confident presenting to buyers, with strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships.A trend-aware, commercial handwriting with the ability to translate fashion direction into wearable, scalable product.Highly organised, proactive and comfortable working independently across multiple seasons and accounts.JBRP1_UKTJ
