As the Senior Director of Solution Delivery and Transformation, you'll lead major transformation programs aligned with our 2030 strategy, ensuring timely, budget-conscious, and high-quality solution delivery. Your leadership will be key in driving scalable, sustainable, and innovative solutions that enhance data value and accelerate the development of life-changing medicines for patients worldwide.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and presenting visions, proposals, and business cases for data and AI initiatives, including stakeholder alignment, resource planning, and milestones to secure buy-in and investment.
- Creating multi-year strategic roadmaps for R&D Data Office initiatives with clear objectives and key results.
- Building effective relationships with senior R&D and IT collaborators to achieve shared goals.
- Ensuring effective programme governance, staffing, budgeting, and managing interdependencies.
- Overseeing risk, issue, and quality management processes.
- Mentoring and developing team members to foster a high-performing, cross-functional team.
- Conducting programme performance reviews and facilitating change management for smooth adoption of solutions.
- Driving stakeholder communication and alignment throughout transformation.
- Staying updated on emerging data and AI technologies, evaluating and recommending new approaches.
Qualifications include:
- A business or scientific degree with strategic leadership experience.
- Significant programme leadership experience, especially at the intersection of data and pharma R&D or biotech industries.
- Proven track record in data or AI transformation initiatives.
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Experience in defining business strategies and engaging executive stakeholders.
- Leadership in developing impactful innovative solutions.
- Excellent networking, consulting, and communication skills.
- Experience managing diverse teams across locations and controlling large budgets.
Desirable skills include:
- Post-graduate degree in IT, Data Science, or Data Management.
- Experience in pharmaceutical R&D and working in global organizations.
- Knowledge of patient data types, their purposes, and regulatory requirements.
