About the Opportunity We are supporting a major long-term infrastructure programme within a highly regulated environment, delivering critical engineering and construction projects that will support vital national operations for decades to come.
This is part of a significant multi-billion-pound programme focused on major capital projects, site-wide improvements, and long-term asset continuity. The work plays a key role in delivering safe, sustainable solutions for future generations.
The Role We are seeking an experienced Senior CE&I Designer to support design delivery across construction and commissioning phases on a major project.
You will be highly motivated, confident working independently, and able to take ownership of CE&I design deliverables within a complex, multi-disciplinary project environment.
Key Responsibilities Production of CE&I deliverables including loop diagrams, block cable diagrams, and single line diagrams
Update cable records and associated data within Aveva E&I
Review and produce termination details using Aveva E&I
Develop and maintain control panel schematic diagrams
Work within 2D design environments (AutoCAD experience preferred)
Ensure all drawings and documentation meet required technical standards and project schedules
Support construction and commissioning teams with accurate and timely design information
About You ONC/HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
Strong experience using AutoCAD and ideally Aveva E&I
Proven ability to deliver CE&I design scope within projects
Strong communication skills and ability to work across multi-discipline teams
Previous experience within nuclear or other highly regulated industries
