Senior Ecologist A respected environmental consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Ecologist to support the continued growth of its Claverdon, Warwickshire office. The team works on an extensive mix of environmental, habitat and species-related projects throughout the Midlands. This position offers the chance to play a key role in delivering positive ecological outcomes while developing your skills within a friendly and supportive team. Senior Ecologist - Role responsibilities * Take the lead on a variety of ecological surveys, impact assessments and mitigation work aroung Claverdon, Warwickshire and surrounding Midlands area * Produce clear, well-structured technical documents, including preliminary ecological assessments, habitat and species reports, and EcIAs * Offer technical oversight and mentoring to less experienced ecologists * Work closely with clients, planning authorities and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery * Manage fieldwork planning, project timelines and budgets * Assist with generating new work opportunities and strengthening client relationships Senior Ecologist - What we’re looking for * A degree in ecology or another relevant environmental discipline * Strong consultancy experience with a proven background in delivering ecological work * Holding, or actively progressing towards, protected species licences -particularly ...
