We are looking for a Senior Electrical Contracts Manager to lead the electrical delivery of a flagship MEP healthcare project in Plymouth, valued at £48 million.Role ResponsibilitiesProject Management: Oversee all electrical contract elements, ensuring alignment with programme goals, budgets, and milestones.Planning & Coordination: Develop detailed project plans and schedules. Collaborate closely with MEP disciplines, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.Resource Management: Allocate labour, materials, and equipment effectively to achieve project objectives.Quality Assurance: Ensure electrical installations comply with relevant standards and regulations. Conduct inspections and audits to guarantee high-quality work.Safety Compliance: Enforce robust health and safety practices, addressing risks proactively.Financial Oversight: Monitor and control expenditure, providing accurate financial and progress reports.Risk Management: Identify risks and implement effective mitigation and contingency plans.Client Relations: Act as the main client contact, delivering progress updates and ensuring satisfaction.Documentation: Maintain accurate project records, including permits, contracts, change orders, and reports.Team Leadership: Lead and mentor engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors, fostering collaboration and performance excellence.Required QualificationsExperience: Significant experience in electrical engineering and project management, with a track record of delivering large-scale MEP projects (healthcare sector experience desirable).Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, BS 7671 wiring regulations, and relevant codes.
