My client specializes in electrical and mechanical design consultancy services and has recently been acquired by a reputable group specializing in multi-disciplinary sustainable solutions. Working in collaboration with leading consultancy firms in the UK, this is a chance to join a company paving its way to industry leadership.

In this role, you will provide electrical design consultancy services primarily to clients within industrial sectors, with training provided in specific industrial solutions.

This is an ideal role for someone experienced in electrical building services design seeking to join a reputable group with strong development and progression opportunities. You will have the chance to train and develop into sustainable design solutions and address any skill gaps.

The role includes:

1. Management of electrical building design projects, including automation, lighting, sustainability, utilities, and refrigeration.
2. Collaborating with project leaders on site audits, consultancy work, calculations, feasibility studies, electrical design, and tender processes.
3. Taking ownership of proposals, quotes, and regulatory standards.
4. Primarily working on industrial projects, with training provided.
5. Hybrid working arrangements.

The person:

1. Experience in electrical design within building services.
2. Open to candidates with diverse backgrounds; training can be provided to assess and fill skill gaps.
3. Experience with electrical CAD design.
4. Relevant engineering qualification – Degree, HNC, or HND.
5. Open to upskilling and personal development.
