With a strong reputation for quality and long-term client relationships, this is a role that offers both stability and career progression.\nAs a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will:\n * Produce accurate, functional, and cost-effective electrical system designs using CAD software\n * Translate customer requirements from discussions and technical documents into designs\n * Create functional design specifications, system manuals, and other customer documentation\n * Develop 2D layout drawings for electrical panel builds and system I/O layouts\n * Liaise with suppliers to select appropriate components\n * Produce accurate bills of materials (BOMs)\n * Support commissioning teams to ensure successful FAT and SAT\n * Perform design calculations (manually or with software) to verify performance and suitability\n * Collaborate with wider design teams to improve processes and participate in design reviews\nWho We’re Looking For:\n * HND or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience\n * Strong experience with electrical design software (training on Eplan provided)\n * Skilled in hand calculations for drive systems, electrical loadings, and current ratings\n * Excellent communication skills, time management, and ability to prioritise tasks\n * Previous experience in bespoke or special-purpose machine building and design\n * Comfortable liaising with customers, suppliers, and internal teams\n * Knowledge of UKCA/CE technical file creation, functional safety, and SISTEMA experience\nIf you’re an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer looking to take ownership of your projects, grow your career, and work in a supportive, innovative engineering environment, we would love to hear from you
