As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will…

  • Undertake electrical building services design across a range of project sectors, including calculations, drawings and specifications.
  • Prepare drawings using AutoCAD, with experience of Revit being advantageous.
  • Undertake electrical design calculations, including power, lighting, containment, and life safety systems.
  • Support project delivery from concept through to detailed design and technical coordination.
  • Survey and report on electrical systems within existing buildings.
  • Prepare and contribute to tender documentation.
  • Monitor, report and support contract administration during construction.
  • Undertake witnessing duties during project handover.
  • Collaborate with clients, design team members, suppliers and contractors to deliver technically robust and efficient solutions.
  • Comply with Brookbanks QA procedures.


What we’re looking for

  • Degree educated in a relevant electrical engineering or building services discipline.
  • Strong electrical design skills across building services.
  • Revit experience is desirable.
  • Working towards chartership or Chartered status.
  • Full driving licence.
